Privacy policy
Last updated:
This policy covers the website canapestudio.app. In short: the site doesn’t track you. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from any other site. Each app has its own policy, listed below.
Who is responsible
Canapé Studio, the publisher of this site (see the legal notice). For any question about this policy or about your data, write to hello@canapestudio.app.
What the site collects
Nothing, itself. It has no accounts, no forms, no comments and no analytics. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Its fonts and images are served from canapestudio.app, and every page tells your browser to load nothing from anywhere else.
What Cloudflare handles to serve the pages
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. Like any web server, Cloudflare receives what your browser sends with each request: your IP address, the address of the page, and technical details such as your browser’s type. Cloudflare uses this to deliver the pages, to protect the site and its network against attacks and abuse, and to show the publisher aggregate traffic figures: numbers of requests and visitors, and the visitors’ countries. The publisher sees only these totals, never who visited, and keeps no request logs of their own.
The site doesn’t use Cloudflare’s optional Web Analytics or its bot-detection features, which would add a script or a cookie.
The legal basis is the publisher’s legitimate interest in running the site and keeping it secure (GDPR, article 6(1)(f)). Cloudflare acts as a processor on the publisher’s behalf, under its Data Processing Addendum. It keeps this data for as long as these purposes require, as its privacy policy describes. Cloudflare is based in the United States: transfers there are covered by its certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
When you write to the studio
If you email hello@canapestudio.app, Cloudflare Email Routing forwards your message to the publisher’s mailbox. Your address and your message are used only to answer you, and kept only as long as the conversation needs. The legal basis is your request.
The apps
Each app has its own privacy policy:
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data about you, to restrict its processing or to object to it, by writing to hello@canapestudio.app. As the site collects nothing itself, this mostly concerns the emails you’ve sent. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address, with a new date at the top.
